Working with Secondary Schools

Business and Enterprise Specialist Colleges are working within the community as part of their role. This includes working and supporting primary schools financially and with their network. Primary programme is a specific area in which secondary schools can help primary schools with financial support so the students come to their schools with business and enterprise capability, knowledge and understanding. The primary schools do not have funding for this area of the curriculum but the objectives of specialist schools are to share that expertise within their community. This can be done by transition work across the sectors of education with support from Young Enterprise with their Primary Programme and Big School.

The new report 'Enterprising Heads' which can be found on the publications page of www.teachernet.gov.uk has many references to Young Enterprise and how if supports work across the schools.
