Young Enterprise London is helped and supported by volunteers in all sorts of ways. One of the most important roles is played by a number of local voluntary management boards, known as Area Boards.
There are currently 13 of these boards across the whole of London. Representing local business people and educators, the board provides a local focus for Young Enterprise. Their role is invaluable in helping promote YEL activities in as many schools as possible.
As well as providing guidance and support, the Area Boards help to engage local business people as volunteers for schools, raise funds and run local YE events such as Trade Fairs and celebration events. They provide training opportunities such as Company and Team programme inductions and mid year briefings.
