I have dyslexia which can sometimes make it hard for me to talk to people and for people to understand me. In the classroom, when I would talk to people they just couldn’t understand me.
Life and school is definitely hard sometimes but I joined YEL and it has really helped me with my communication; my talking has improved and I enjoyed all the activities and competitions. I love that other people liked our company.
I am just much more confident and my reading has improved as well! It is still helping me more and more everyday.
I am no longer worried about the future as I now have the skills to get a job and I’ll be able to work in different places because of my new confidence. I’d like to be a hairdresser and maybe I could even own my own hair salon!
